An Exciting Announcement...

I can’t believe I haven’t yet formally announced that my new book is now available to buy!

There has been so much going on and so much news to share – what with podcast interviews of amazing guest, our webinar series and all the inspirational stories of businesses changing the world.

So here it is...

I am so incredibly excited to share this, the book I have wanted to write for quite some time, even as I was writing my first book, Path To Purpose, five years ago.

Back then I wasn’t ready to write this book. I didn’t have the insight or experience that I knew was needed to do it justice. So I had to immerse myself in some deep development work – uncovering learnings and insights along the way.

It was particularly important to me that I could bring a unique perspective to the subject of “Purpose”. One that would invite people to think differently about the opportunity it can offer a business.

That perspective is “Love”. Through this book, I invite you to ask yourself some important questions

What if business hasn’t yet realised its full potential?

Can you imagine if business was driven by love?

How different might the world look?

To help inspire you, I share stories of businesses who are in it for love and whose success has been driven by that love. Businesses like Intrepid Travel, Outland Denim, Beaumont People, Future Super, Dave’s Killer Bread...and many more.

Another important thing I wanted to deliver through this book was a way for people to get started on their path to purpose, because starting is always the hardest part. That's why a large part of the book is dedicated to 'how' to start, helping the reader take action.

Who will get value from this book?

This book is for anyone who questions the status quo and who aspires to a better way of doing business.

Readers who will get the most value are dreamers and idealists. Not to be confused with hopeless romantics, these dreamers and idealists are visionaries. They are the true leaders of a future society that we have the potential to create – one in which we are the stewards of our planet for future generations; and where our society offers opportunity to the many, not just the few.

Are you one of those who believes we can create a better future?

For love of our home planet

I want to get this book into the hands of as many people as possible because I truly believe it will help to inspire them and navigate their businesses to a better and more fulfilling path. Through my book, I also want to create more impact, directed to our beautiful home planet.

Through our membership of B1G1, we came across a wonderful Australian non-profit organisation called Rainforest Rescue. Rainforest Rescue rescues endangered pristine rainforest through buy-back of privately owned blocks for nature. This increases essential wildlife habitat and connectivity, as well as protecting it forever from development. You can read more about them here.

We love what Rainforest Rescue are doing and want to support their important work. So for every “FOR LOVE & MONEY” book we sell, we will protect one square metre of rainforest.

So far - thanks to everyone who has already bought a copy – we have protected almost 400 square metres of rainforest. We would LOVE to reach our target of 1,000 square metres by end of this year, so if you haven’t yet bought a copy of this book, now is as good a time as any! Buy it for yourself or buy it as a gift for someone you know would value it.

Share the Love

What People Are Saying About "For Love & Money"

“Carolyn asks us to consider if business has realised its true potential – and to suspend judgement as she suggests businesses could and should act with love. Could love be the answer to how we build a more just, equitable and sustainable world?”

SARAH DOWNIE. CEO Shared Value Project

“Carolyn demonstrates how a company can go about doing all this by describing the journey the company I am CEO of, Blooms The Chemist, as a case study. When I read this, I thought to myself, why didn’t I see the potential and rightness of this approach to running a company before? On reflection, I probably did think about it, but did not have a guide, such as this book, to help me lead this sort of paradigm shifting endeavour.”

PHIL SMITH. CEO Blooms The Chemist

"For Love & Money is not just a roadmap for creating your own path to social purpose with practical advice and a blueprint for success, it is a frank and often vulnerable account of Carolyn’s own journey as just one thread in a tapestry of splendid accounts of some extraordinarily brave leaders who took their own business’ beyond profit to making a difference in the world."

JO ASQUITH. CEO Catalyst Education
