What's Stopping Your Organisation From Leading With Purpose
You may have a brilliant strategy to start embedding meaningful purpose in your organisation. Or you may be starting at the beginning; full of passion and excitement, but unable to get traction to start the process.
Frustrated? You're not alone.
Through our collective work and our many conversations with organisational leaders, we've identified three of the biggest barriers preventing purpose champions within an organisation from starting to implement a meaningful purpose agenda. And they all start with the leadership team.
Barrier #1:
Your leadership team are not on the same page.
They have different ideas on the role that purpose should play in the organisation.
Barrier #2:
Leaders are not leading on purpose.
The individuals on the leadership team are not demonstrating purpose-driven leadership.
Barrier #3:
There's no plan to connect your people to purpose.
Leaders are unclear on how to move forward, so there is no plan to start the process.
These barriers are consequential in nature. The first leads to the second, leads to the third.
Organisations that don't do the work to overcome these barriers will always be limited in how purpose-driven they can become and will never be able to fulfil their potential to profit with purpose.
By Addressing These Barriers We Can Move Forward With Confidence And Clarity
By bringing your leadership team together through this workshop, we achieve the following
Outcome #1:
Clarity & Alignment
Leadership team clarity on the value of purpose;
and alignment on the role that purpose will play within your organisation.
Outcome #2:
Cultivate Purpose-Driven Leadership
Your leaders understand what purpose-driven leadership looks like and they start to walk the talk.
Outcome #3:
Plan your path forward
Identify actionable steps to align your organisation with a purpose-driven culture,
fostering engagement and commitment among your people
This is the vital early work that is essential to embedding purpose meaningfully into an organisation.
